The communist forum of Phantis, creator Lazzaros and cronies of the likes Tzatziki, together with the PAOK members have betrayed all Greeks and Westerners! I rarely visit that forum, but when I do there's crazy posts on there for laughs. They basically have kicked out all free speech and democratic respecting members. Too add, they now rather back China over our democracy! They also respect white people who feel guilty of not being black or a minority. They now only have a few active members aloud to post. WE WELCOME ALL DEMOCRATIC/REPUBLICANS EVEN COMMUNIST HERE....We respect free speech!

I'm sure there is more than 50 members that have been kicked off Phantis. Feel free to post what you feel here.

It’s a good topic you brought up. I use that site aswell. I like both and I want to try and be involved with as many discussions as possible especially in regards to Greek football. There are some good posters over there like J1078 and Georgelaz. But at the same time there are others on there that have a poor attitude or they simple can’t have a proper conversation without getting angry or offended for no reason. I find this place more sensible and logical and also more peaceful where we can debate and go back and fourth in a civilised way and without offending anyone.

Absolutely you couldn't have said it better. Bottom line they have kicked out half the members....if you don't think socialist to the bone, they don't want you posting. Now they blame Trump for the coronavirus pandemic, and see nothing wrong with China in this. Also that Tzatziki guy keeps pushing black pride....I have nothing against black people, but can't understand the connection with a Greek Forum black problems and Tzatziki? Also Lazaros is 100 percent communist/with Black hawk. I started this thread to show the big difference between this forum and Phantis. Thanks for responding man....good to know there's others that feel that way.

i knew my days were over when the worshipper deleted some of my posts about social issues and comrade lenin backed the worshipper. no problem - 13% of the population and the old web site lost 50% of their posters.

it all started in the late 80s-early 90s with political correctness. PC did not allow any criticism of cultures/sub-cultures. many youngsters followed that immune to criticism culture of side-hustling, thug life/violence, women objectified as worse than sex objects and smoking blunts.

Agree Reaper has created a top site with vision moving forward. Open discussions/debates and constructive arguments is the lifeline to democracy. Greeks brought this and evolved it in ancient Greece, and it spread throughout the Western world to our modern day society....our political and legal system is a result of Greek society. The irony of that site in being Greek, is they behave more like a society that doesn't respect modern day democracy. They seem to lean towards dictatorship, and forced views on their members.

Yea, Phantis was a weird one. I am sure there is a desire from a certain permanently offended minority to have certain parts of posts they ideologically disagree with removed - posts that some strange mod may feel AOC or some other weirdo would not happy with. I never got it. I remember I was even a mod there for a while. The owner - who had some epic admiration for himself - decided to to go full retard (Tropic Thunder) and put all his chips on that strange mod they had over there who is big into insults, virtue signalling and censorship. I tried to talk him out of it but in his actions he revealed a fair bit about his own politics - which are firmly on the outraged left. To be honest - I don't blame them personally - who knows what went on in their childhoods or what sort of bizarro politics they heard at home on a regular basis. Either way, in this forum - I am not 100% - but pretty sure there has never been a post censored in sections to please a certain agenda of a particular mod. We can have someone on here extolling the virtues of Maoism if they please - however the minute they start personally insulting other posters or lying about other posters who disagree with them - its over. Many times when extremists don't like what they are hearing they start arguing by themselves and stop reading other's posts due to being emotionally charged.

Anyways that place was sick. Actually feel sorry for them more than anything but I do wish them luck. Keeping a forum going is not easy or cheap. Hell, I even admire that the KKE in Greece still going. Amazing how those guys are still trying also - I think that same fanaticism will keep Phantis going for decades too even if it does just end up the weird mod posting his black lives matter idols back to Lazaros with a few PAOKtzis in between..

Anyways..

I do want to shout out to a few members on here who know who they are. Those who have given what they can to help keep this place going and in doing so, given the Greek diaspora a place to chat and discuss whatever they want free of left wing apologism, revisionism and censorship and free of the far right also (strange thing is, we haven't had one join in the history of this project anyway - I am curious where all these fascists are the left are constantly talking about..).

The Greek spirit that this place celebrates - is something ethereal. We will never demean or weaken it to fit in with cultural marxists.

They were happy to keep it between the 3 or 4 of them that kept the site alive all those preceding years. Let them have their forum, let us have our own. It's for the best.

Big picture, I honestly think it reflects where the West has been moving. The EU and NATO will probably be dead in the next few years. The US could very well break up too. This coronavirus pandemic could be the last straw. Especially given where the economy may end up going if we really can't open things up without seeing record cases again. If this shut down continues, we're heading towards a depression and the end of the US as we know it.
