I'm sure most of you have already heard but yesterday, Paris' Notre Dame, erupted into flames.
The church has been around for more than 800 years, and luckily the structure of the church has been saved. The spire essentially collapsed into the church. There's a lot of speculation going around regarding what started the fire. Some are saying that it started as a result of renovations being done, while others are linking the tragedy with a slew of other church's being attacked in France recently, by islamic extremists.
I don't want to say one way or another, because the investigation will likely be launched soon.
Also, in positive news the crown of thorns, and the blessed sacrament were both saved which stands as a huge win in all of this. The church will certainly be rebuilt, and France's billionaire Francois-Henri Pinaul & Bernard Arnault are both pledging hundreds of millions towards rebuilding the church.
