Good on him, expected reaction from the fans because we all know how the turks are. Wonder how long he lasts there because wouldn't be shocked if it gets to the point where he's booed, or fans try to assault him
He walked back the incident in his remarks and sheepishly claimed that he did't hold the banner because he didn't understand what was happening. Whatever. He should leave Turkey the first chance he gets and I hope every other Greek who thinks about playing there realizes the same.
Good on him for not holding the banner, but poor on him for walking back his actions. Attaturk and Turkish policies over the past several centuries should be vehemently rejected by any self-respecting Greek.
