Ascoli in the Serie B have started to stockpile a few greeks in their side, with Avlonitis (last at Sturm Graz), Christos Donis, and Vellios moving there from Atromitos. Interesting to see how these 3 greeks fit into the one team, and why the sudden greek connection.
Other Greeks Abroad

Avlonitis I can see doing well and potentially playing in the Series A. Christos Donis is very average. I'm actually surprised he's playing abroad. Vellios is great at the rovesciata, but his skills are very limited to finishing and he lacks pace, athleticism.
The only other Greek to have played at Ascoli I know of was Eleutheropoulos, the ex-Olympiacos keeper. He had the eyes and soar of an eagle, but was a bit too much of playboy. When it came to dealing with crosses, he was like those inflatable tube men. He's now coaching in Greece.

hard to watch kyriakopoulos in the super heavy fog. i watched for a bit, stopped watching what i couldn't see. as it turns out, i missed a great 2nd half. 3-3 final with torino.
looks like left back kyriakopoulos got good grades, from 6s to 6.5s. i know the turkish right back got an assist on sassuolo's first goal, a nice flick by ex-osfp djuricic.
