  • So for yet another derby, Original hooligans fought with cops during the Olympiakos games and we will be punished with 2-4 games with out fans.

    So over this stupid shit

    • The PAE are looking at moving our home games to Rizoupoli either ASAP or from the beginning of next season. Great idea imo.

Could finally time to say goodbye to OAKA.

      • No Oliveira against Atromitos tomorrow. Is he injured? Will Araujo be rushed in? Sure hope so.

        • No idea on Oliveira, anything to do with the failed Wolves transfer? Araujo on the bench at best. Big game for us!

          • I doubt it, he will want to continue playing being a Euro year, he will have to score a lot more to even be considered imo.

In other news it looks like Nikolaidis is going for the EPO job.

            Thoughts?

            • That’s very interesting for Nikolaidis to go for the EPO job as a long time ago he said he would never get involved in football again as there were threats made against his family. I have a slight feeling Savvidis is behind him.

Also read last week Lysandrou will also be going for the role which we know is backed by Meli.

Its going to be a dirty election.

              • Why do you feel Savvidis is behind Demi?

Lysandrou is seems like a good option, I don't know much about him but he seemed decent while with us however isnt he a lawyer? I feel someone with a footballing background should take charge not these cats who are just in it for the money and not too improve the game. ( not aimed at Lysandrou but in general)

Im not sure what his beliefs are now but while in charge of us Demi did at least make an effort to to stop the hooligans (AEKs ones in anyway) which is still more of an effort than abyone has made and it has been nearly 15 years. I would say he never wanted to get involved in Greek football again because he is embarrassed by it. When he goes from watching tye Premier League and La Liga to us in chairmen complaining about who is doing this and that and entering the field's with guns and riots nearly every 2nd week you cant blame him haha it will be interesting to hear what his ideas and motives are.

                • Don't know who is behind Demi but at the very least - he was always against violence so instant thumbs up from me.

Demi has always been about the good of football and making it go forward in good ways which he tried to do at AEK.

Recently he was working on one of Savvidis TV stations, may not mean much but for him to come out of nowhere and get back involved in football is a shock. Why all of a sudden now? Especially when once upon a time he said he would never be involved again as he had threats made against his family. I just feel someone is backing him on this, we know it’s not Meli, he hasn’t been to an Aek game in years, but we can’t deny he’s more Aek than many of our fans.

The EPO elections are always backed by people who own clubs and want their people in control as we’ve seen for many years now. I could be totally wrong though. Just my thoughts and opinion.

Lysandrou was our lawyer now he’s president of the super league, he’s been mentioned as a candidate also, wouldn’t be a bad choice but you need football people making these decisions.

                    • 2 match ban without fans for the trouble that occurred once again outside the ground against Olympiacos. This has now happened 3 consecutive times at home against Oly. The 3-2 comeback there was violence outside, last season violence outside and we got docked points and last week. Is it really the fans or are MAT targeting our fans, just seems odd it always happens outside and against Oly.

                      Comment

                      • Yeah strange considering there is no away fans, unless Oly fans show up at some stage during the game in the big Olympic complex outside OAKA. It's just a big wasteland.

The 2 match ban will occur in the home leg vs Panetolikos & our league game vs OFI.

                        • Aris in the Semis.

I would have preferred PAOK tbh.

1st leg at OAK on 4/5 March, 2nd leg on 22/23 April, such a big gap for some reason between the 2 legs?

                          • Only in Greece how dumb is that, 6 weeks apart. Only thing I can think of is are playoff matches midweek also or just weekends?

If we make the final I honestly can’t handle another loss, especially to PAOK, 3 times is enough.

                            • Read an article that the 1st round of playoffs are about to be called off, anyone else heard this? And why it’s happening?

                              • Something to do with waiting to see the final outcome of the PAOK vs Xanthi case as it could affect the standings and also to do with getting foreign refs in for pretty much all of the games seen as they are all derbies bar any game vs OFI.

A load of boloney if you ask me. The usual.
