Beat Volos 2-0 overnight and I must say Geraldes is very classy and confident with both feet, Simao has also impressed so far. The team was at half strength also, but we played neat tidy and attacking football. Just wait til Verde and Oliveira come in, we could be a real contender this season from the slight glimpses we’ve shown already.Comment

A lot of players missing - Kristicic, Babakis, Giakoumakis, Livaja, Big Chyg, Barkas, Oikonomiu, Mantalos, Vranjes and Galanopoulos.

Geraldes once again a stand out, from what he’s already shown we need to find a way to sign this guy, he knows how to play. Simao has also impressed so far. Considering we had quite a few out it will be very interesting to see what 11 Cardoso goes with as we have plenty of depth which is a good problem to have because last season players who weren’t performing were still getting a start, this season it will be very different. Still think we need a CB to partner Vranjes, Jesus and Oiko are too injury prone.Comment

Not a bad result overall, Bakashekir is a pretty decent side these last couple seasons. Shame we didn’t score especially playing at home but both teams did miss some good chances. Oly won’t find it easy against them in their CL qualifierComment
