He saved our ass last time he was given minutes but then dropped to let lazaros be the striker. Martins really doesn't like him.

Typical Greek tail of tragic luck... hope he is loaned out tbh, we need to see what Greek strikers can do right now

Signed the highly talented Masouras. He is coming in January:

With the signing of Masouras, strong rumours that Fetfatzidis is on his way out. The guy should never have been brought back, for every good game he has, he has another 3 bad ones. Anyway it looks like Martins has finally had enough.
Also to leave looks to be Yaya Toure - he simply cannot get fit to last more than 30 minutes.

Fetfa should've choice futsal. He simply can't last on a pitch that size.

Shame about yaya. I saw that milan game, he was dominating. If the body can't though there's not much you can do and for anyone that has played will know that there can be that one game whereby if you push the body, you are still feeling the effects 3 months later. Best he doesn't risk hurting himself.

Anyway i wanted to say that you guys need a striker comes january.

A new striker is on the cards. Hassan isn’t working out, Manos and Guerrero are good options as subs but don’t have the quality to be our first choice.
There has been talk about either Markus Berg or Kostas Mitroglou but both would be on high contracts.
We really need the big target man striker. The big guy who’s good at heading and positioning. Think Kovacevic, Pantelic and Djebbour - those sorts of strikers.

Sport24 columnist today is saying that Vrousaj, Androutsos and Nikolaou will go out on loan in January. Toure will go, as will Felipe Pardo who we couldn't find a buyer for during the summer. Also there is the case of Hassan returning to Braga and Fetfatzidis being shipped out.
I'd be surprised if we got rid of 7 players in January (especially Vrousaj who seems to be on the verge of breaking into the team), but if they won't be playing for the team again this season then maybe it should happen.

yea, I can imagine us losing a fair few players. We should get a B team so these guys can at least be playing every week.

We had a B team last year in the shape of Kissamikos, we had 10 players on loan to them. We don't seem to have done the same amount of loans this season though.

true, but I don't think Kissamikos was a genuine B team in the Spanish sense. There is no process where we could get a player back within a week from Kissamikos - or allow one of our own first teamers who is out of form to spend time there to regain form/fitness. For example - Androutsos should have been playing somewhere the last few months seeing as Martins does not rate him.

                          So back to transfers,

                          Oliveira (Norwich)
                          Montero (Sporting)
                          Fereyra (Benfica)

The one that interests me is the last one.

I expect Mario Balotelli to hit Greek sport pages in the next week or so.

I hope he does. I hope we get him. It will lift us and Greek football. Mitroglou will cost us a fortune. May as well spend a few 100k more get Super Mario.

Talk of Meria leaving for Saudi Arabia in January. Can't say I'd be sad to see him go as long as he brings in a fee.
