  • UEFA Ranking Coefficients

We are below Cyprus... special thanks to the EPO, Syriza and the un-arrestable anarchist hooligan brigades that each year ensure our league is less attractive and less safe for professionals to work in..

Well, it was always coming. At least let's produce players for the international level and try to aim for a ranking between 8-10, if that's feasible. For all I know, this kind of ranking won't matter because UEFA might establish a European super league in order to keep clubs like AC Milan and Arsenal happy when they miss out on a top four finish.

        Disastrous day.

AEK out and scoring less points than both Atromitos and Aris and PAOK getting nothing - Paschalakis again showing why anyone who considers him for an NT starter needs to locked away..

PAOK lost?? I saw some of the second half and they were missing chance after chance!

Just seen the copped one at the end

Is it the bleach? I don't know what goes on in his head. Can pull off a great save and yet he struggles with the basics.

Paok seem to switch off against these smaller sides.

PAOK's performances in Europa League since last year have been embarrassing... losses vs Bate, Vidi and Slovan. They are obviously a very good side, evidenced by them beating Basel, Spartak and tying Ajax/Benfica in that same span.

We really need them to beat Slovan if we want to overtake the Czechs or Danes. We will likely get a CL bonus from Oly and Cyprus will be without anyone in CL and just one team in Europa (APOEL).

Pelkas is their weakness most games. How he was made captain is mindblowing.

I think the coaching changes cost many of our teams in Europe. Only OSFP kept their coach over the summer and the results show it.

Slavia Prague registered an incredible draw today against Barcelona. The Czechs are moving too far ahead of us in the rankings. Austria's RB Salzburg is capable of competing with the European big boys. Ajax are in a league of their own at the moment and look every bit the European super club. Belgium really don't have any standout teams. If Olympiacos were Belgian, they'd have won the league title 20 years running in Belgium too.

                  Here's how things currently stand:
                  1 Spain 23.928 20.142 19.714 19.571 7.928 91.283 7/ 7
                  2 England 14.250 14.928 20.071 22.642 8.142 80.033 7/ 7
                  3 Germany 16.428 14.571 9.857 15.214 6.857 62.927 7/ 7

I think we have what it takes to be at the level of Belgium.

I hope there will come a time when the manager of a Greek club is giving a press conference before a Europa/CL game and doesn't utter the words, 'our aim is to win the Greek championship - that is the most important thing.'

I think Meli and Savvidis will really feel the pain of that myopic philosophy this season. It is a disgrace that AEK and PAOK didn't manage to get into the Europa Cup this season and the media should have made more of it.

Would also be useful if the Greek league started earlier too to take into account the summer quals we will always be part of.

Official. Only 4 clubs in Europe next season.

                        Airs have drawn Kolos Kovalivka

                        OFI have drawn Apollon Limassol

Both games at home, they are both winnable, OFI's game crucial as Cyrpus are above us.

tactical disasters. our clubs still don't know how to play for a result.

going back 5 years - belgium, holland, turkey, denmark will fall in the rankings as a very good year drops off. looks like 12.5, 9.1, 9.7 and 8.5 will drop off; replaced by much lower numbers.

this isn't 1998-2002..we're in the area we currently deserve.

Sad Greece could not take advantage of what is looking like one of the worst years for Turkish clubs.
