We should add Aris here too. They are at the range of AEK/PAOK.

maybe other teams like Larisa (big club and stadium) as well.

            Olympiacos break the 20,000 barrier.

            PAOK crack the 16,000 barrier.

Olympiacos and PAOK now are sold out at over 22,000 each and have had to stop people buying tickets as a result. Congratulations to both. Their stadiums are simply not big enough for the demand.. Years of Greeks saying - 'why get a bigger stadium when you only sold 10,000 seats for Levadiakos' seem to have trumped the reality that they were selling out for european games and Greek derbies. Olympiacos sold out (32,000) for a friendly last month vs Forest...

AEK will find the same problem in their new small stadium, they were selling 50k for European games and 40k for derbies last season - of which there will now be more because of the new league format. A good 20,000 fans who were willing to watch AEK live in the stadium in Europe will now have to be contented with Nova..

The big 5 - Aris, AEK, OSFP, PAOK and PAO need bigger stadia. PAO and PAOK should definitely get 40k and over and this will double for a future UEFA/FIFA tournament held in Greece as part of a joint bid.

Average attendance thru 3 match days is the highest it has been since 2009-10.

Yes, highest in a decade - the league is turning a corner.

Watched a little of Xanthi last night, they won all their games so far this season - best ever start. Their stadium was full of fans. Very good to see.

Yes, indeed. Hoping PanaX can get promoted this year. I feel like they typically have great turnouts as well.

Great to see and I have to say, all the games I have watched this season have been decent quality, in fact the team that has impressed me the most is OFI
