  • Here is the interview after last weeks game against OFI. Fetfatzidis has always been very down to earth. Also the coach Michael Oenning realises his importance to the team and has made Aris work very hard for the results they’ve had. Aris should be in a better situation then they are, but they’ve done well I guess with the situations they have been dealt with.

      • Looks as if Aris will sign Gianniotas, who came up at the club. The purchase is conditioned on the sale of Fetfatzidis. He may sign to Fenerbahce under new manager Erol Bulut. The new Fenerbahce coach had spent part of his career as a player in Greece and was most recently manager to Bakasetas, Tzavellas, and Siopis (who was formerly of Aris) while he managed Alanyaspor. Bakasetas will probably play at Fenerbahce as well.

        • It seems as if Fetfatzidis will stay put.

            • He has now signed for a club in Qatar for the next three years. That will be the last we see of him.

                • The ability was there. The dedication and fight was not. Even for 1 out of 3, it was enough to give us some great entertainment.

                  • \What are you going to say, I can't fault the kid, I read on one site, that he was seeking € 1.3million a year with a team called Al Kor. He has to look after his future, especially after football. I might blame his agent for not looking more intently elsewhere in Europe, ie. like Bakasetas for resurrecting his career in Turkey. But again, I thank the kid for being one of the rare Greeks footballers that has entertained me over the years. God knows I have had to endure many painful footballers chosen ahead of the kid with the ethniki over the last half decade or so which has lessened my passion for the team, I'm sad to say.

                    • I’ve never seen someone who has been so under-utilised as Fetfa. Especially for the national team. Even Ninis received more opportunities. Fetfa was by far a once in a lifetime player for Greece.

                      • Agreed Dean, also never seen a guy criticised as much as him for any fault what so ever and only a few people actually paid homage to the season he had last season at Aris which was excellent and prob the best attacking Greek player of the season

                        • ^^ the NT/EPO is very forgiving, but only for select players from select teams, he is well within his right to take the money and run well away from Greece, and the spotlight for NT selection.
