Israel is in part to blame for the creation of Hamas. They did it in the hopes of weakening support for Arafat's PLO. Israel doesn't control them, but they helped to create that movement. Erdogan is content to turn Turkey into another Iran and the further he heads down this path, the more unstable things will become in the region. He has Qatar in support. We need to confront the Turks when they challenge our sovereignty or they will continue to push the envelope and we may find ourselves in the sort of situation now facing Ukraine vis-a-vis Russia.
