Tucker Carlson speaking with ret. Col. Douglas MacGregor. He advises that Trump leave Iraq:

"If the president is smart"... yes, if only the president had a clue. I'm afraid the president is too full of himself and he is egged on by neocons, like this guy:

Tucker's Daily Caller also published this article about Ann Coulter's now opposition to Trump.

Ann Coulter: ‘We Thought Trump Was Different’ About Starting Wars

      The truth about Soleimani's assassination:

      https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitic...financial-wmds

The bombshell facts were delivered by caretaker Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi, during an extraordinary, historic parliamentary session in Baghdad on Sunday.

Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani had flown into Baghdad on a normal carrier flight, carrying a diplomatic passport. He had been sent by Tehran to deliver, in person, a reply to a message from Riyadh on de-escalation across the Middle East. Those negotiations had been requested by the Trump administration.

So Baghdad was officially mediating between Tehran and Riyadh, at the behest of Trump. And Soleimani was a messenger. Adil Abdul-Mahdi was supposed to meet Soleimani at 8:30 am, Baghdad time, last Friday. But a few hours before the appointed time, Soleimani died as the object of a targeted assassination at Baghdad airport.
      (emphasis not mine)

This according to the Iraqi PM. If true, this decision to kill Soleimani is even worse than I had thought.

The Chairman of the JCOS gave a very vague reason citing how Soleimani was planning to kill Americans. There is a possibility Soleimani was to coordinate with local tribes to fight American forces in eastern Syria, but I have hard believing much else.

Details emerging that is was Mike Pompeo who convinced Trump to make the decision. According Prof Michael Clarke of the RUSI - many other nations have had opportunities to hit Soleimani but refused to due to the obvious fall out. He also stated that America has unofficially told the Iran - they may retaliate if they must, but not in a big way.

Trump willingly surrounds himself with neocons, Pompeo being one of them. Unless Tucker Carlson or some other voice outside his administration speaks up and cautions him, he listens to the people in his administration and then the other talking heads on Fox, like Hannity who is very much a neocon. He listens to the very same people who led the US into this disastrous path in the first place.

BTW, Pompeo been has pushing Trump for months to hit Soleimani.

          https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/06/o...rump-iran.html

According to Peter Bergen’s book “Trump and His Generals,” James Mattis, Trump’s former secretary of defense, instructed his subordinates not to provide the president with options for a military showdown with Iran. But with Mattis gone, military officials, The Times reported, presented Trump with the possibility of killing Suleimani as the “most extreme” option on a menu of choices, and were “flabbergasted” when he picked it.

As for the Iranian thing, there must be at least 1 million Iranians with US citizenship by now. Trump should try to form a special military unit consisting of Iranian volunteers. Seems a wasted resource for the US..
Perhaps one of the reasons those parasites get a free pass in the media is that cnn turk is half owned by WarnerMedia, same company that owns cnn and cnn international. One example of this absurdity, was country wide protests in Turkey a few years ago against Erdogan's regime because of their media crackdown, and cnn turk was airing a DOCUMENTARY ON PENGUINS, instead of the protests.

              Love the absurdity.

Reminds me of the time a turk tried to explain to me that the Devshirme system in the Ottoman empire was popular among Greeks!! He even stated Greeks bribed Turkish officials to take their children! I also heard other Turks online parrot the same nonsense. I researched and researched until I found what the Turks had based this on. One single account - of course splashed all over wikipedia.. by a Turk,... of a poor Bosnian family bribing a Turkish official to take their kids into the Devshirme! Every Turkish historian cites this one instance for the popularity of the Devshirme system!

I sometimes google street view their cities. Every other flat has a turkish flag hanging from the window.. the brainwashing there was clearly done on an industrial scale.

Not surprised that fat pig was one of the people that urged Trump for the strike. First of all, the drone strike shouldn't of been an option on that menu of retaliatory options given to Trump, knowing his predisposition and proclivity to go half cocked sometimes like launching cruise missles in Syria because of the SUPPOSED involvement of the Syrian government in the Douma chemical attack. Thanks to wikileaks, now it looks like the evidence in Douma from the OPCW, were exaggerated and in some cases fabricated, SURPRISE, SURPRISE, to look like the Assad regime was behind it. Those cruise missles reportedly killed 100's of Russian mercenaries in Syria and could've led to something bigger, if not for Russian restraint.

The most bizarre thing about that chemical attack - even before wikileaks blew the lid on it - just the image of that canister resting softly in the bed in that house..

                    Reminded me of this:

Iran has attacked US military personnel in Iraq.

Trump back in 2015 pretending to know who Soleimani was:

Ironically, he says the Kurds were badly treated by the US...

If Tucker Carlson wasn't on Fox, I'd think we would be in a much worse position now.

Fox News Hosts Were Against A Ground War With Iran. Trump Listened.

                                https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...trump-war-iran

And this was the American who died as a result of Soleimani's actions, an Iraqi born US citizen by the name of Nawres Waleed Hamid:

The president is dangerous and deluded.
