Not only are we losing to Finland, but Hungary stands to leap frog us, meaning Greece could be relegated to league D!!!

More importantly, we needed to win this group, not only for the sake of promotion to league B, but in order to qualify for Euro 2020. We could be put into a group with very good teams (France and Italy possibly), so we needed to win this to at least stand a chance for a play-off spot. We'll need a very fortune draw in order to qualify now. Hopefully the 2nd seed is a weak side.

It's obvious Skibbe has lost the team. Sokratis, the captain, getting subbed out like that for Tzavellas, it's very obvious.

Greek media, EPO and the players will all shield Skibbe. There is no hope I am afraid. We are a camel nation from the 1990s football wise and that is the way the Greek media wants to keep it.

No discussion among the EPO about sacking Skibbe. This is why.. they don't want the pressure of replacing him.. The Greek media will shield Skibbe and already has begun to do this. This explains why the EPO needs to keep Skibbe to protect their own jobs:

They want Skibbe to resign. That's why they're not firing him. There's little doubt Sokratis has an issue with the coach. The sprain they're claiming is pure nonsense. He would have played through the pain in a game like this. We needed a win and he knows it. I'm not sure if gets called up in November. He might avoid the NT if he could help it.

So where do we go from here? Until the EPO takes the bullet and fires Skibbe, we continue to despair. Or we wait for Skibbe to salvage something. Hopefully a club expresses interests in his services and leaves by his own volition. I'm sure there are clubs in Switzerland or Austria who would be interested. Perhaps Germany's second division. Maybe a youth team of six year olds. Or maybe Tzavellas or Tziolis clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, respectively.

Hopefully that's sorted it out by January. If not, we need to see how the draw pans out for Euro 2020. If we draw a team like Bosnia instead of Italy, we may stand a chance, but the EPO will need a proper manager. If we draw Italy, we're screwed either way and I would only ask for a caretaker, not a proper manager who will ask a ton of money with nothing to show for it. If the latter, and if I had a pick of coach, I'd take Dellas and I'd like him to coach together with someone like Liberopoulos. If we really want to make a go of it, then we should go with Michel who I think can win Holebas back. Having Holebas back will make a difference, especially if we are to get more out of Mitroglou.

Atromitos have the second best defence in the league and are second in the league!! Skibbe who is sucking big dick lately to keep his job made the mistake of attending the Atromitos vs Asteras game to keep up the pretence that he watches our league and picks players on merit.

He was cornered by Atromitos fans who screamed at him ask why the fuck why Tzavellas gets to be CB and Risvanis and Xatziisaias are not even called up!! Skibbe was petrified and the Atromitos players saved his bacon by intervening so he could escape the stadium safely.
