I would love it if that was true. Seeing how Grammenos operates though - it seems he was just scared as usual and was hoping all the fuss would die down so he could escape without having to make a decision again. Anastasiadis would only last the two matches. He's there to get a couple of wins and then let a proper manager take over. I'd prefer him to Tsanas precisely because he can get the players to squeeze out two wins, whereas Tsanas probably won't win any.
Hopefully we get a good draw and Michel, or someone else who can easily win over players like Holebas, becomes our coach for Euro 2020 qualifying. If it's a bad draw, I would like Dellas to take over alongside another former player, preferably one with a better grasp of the attacking phase of the game, like Lymberopoulos or Anastasiou. I think Lymberopoulos would be the better fit.Comment

Would it matter who the coach is? If the coach doesn’t have the freedom to choose his staff and call ups then what the point. We will not progress and it will cost us another tournament that we have to miss out on. I can’t believe they screwed up with Schuster. He would have made this team something we only dream of in my opinion.Comment

Anastasiadis it is. Will take over the next two games with an option for another year afterwards which I am sure will be activated.
As we guessed - it would have to be a coach to continue the status quo if the EPO were involved. Very low bar coach who certain players clearly do not want (should further solidify Tziolis and Tzavellas however who will adore him and who were starters under him at PAOK). We can only hope after a few more wasted years under Anastasiadis, we at least get a coach of Lemonis' stature at the very least by 2022.
Very disappointed Olympiacos was quiet over this. As we know - in Greece - quietness = tacit support.Comment
