Either way - these type of rumours damage Skibbe so good to hear them.. EPO is dragging their feet and hoping the whole fiasco blows over. Skibbe cleverly talking about the next game like nothing is wrong..

Skibbe is talking about the next game already because no one in the media will hold his feet to the fire. No one challenges him on his disastrous selections and decisions. What does it say of journalism in Greece that when even in sport, let alone politics, there is a cordial relationship between the media and those entrusted with making responsible decisions, that they scratch each others back rather than deal honestly with problems? Even in sport, the media has an agenda and acts to protect certain interests. Even when they report on something honestly, its to placate their agenda and whatever interests they protect. There is no honesty with these people. They're all frauds.

The funny thing about the Greek media is how fearful they are of criticising Skibbe - even those who dislike him write things like 'he may be responsible for certain defeats to a certain degree .. perhaps... but whether he is fully responsible...'

However - there are certain targets the Greek media has agreed upon they can attack freely. There was an article last week on how Fetfatzidis is a complete failure and everyone who has backed him knows nothing about football. Why? Because he missed the shot vs AEK last week..

You would never see this type of character assassination towards Tzavellas, Tziolis, Katsouranis, Karagounis, Bakasetas, Athanasiadis etc. However the greek media decides who can be criticised and who can't. Ninis, Xolebas, Fetfa, Koutris, Gianniotis, Mitroglou - open season - always. Tziolis, Tzavellas and friends - silence.. The free press index concerning Greece must be at Saudi levels.
