Athanasiadis saved us with his stoppage time penalty save (which was a terrible call) which woukd have made it 3-3

An entertaining finish. The passion from the players seems to be there, again, our defence was woeful.

Standard AEK to make it heart attack stuff, but main thing is we got the win as we usually struggle playing there, great way to win it also with 2 late goals and a penalty save.

Cant believe the soft goals we conceded, that defence is so poor right now, thank god our attack is saving us.

25 goals against compared to 10 (Oly), 13 (Aris) and 16 (Pao).

Manolo is the man to fix this based on how we played in 17/18!

I dunno if Manolo can fix these defenders. These guys can’t clear a ball and get beat easy 1:1... Laci starting to make poor mistakes now also...

Laci is still only 18, he will learn from these mistakes. Will be crucial for us going forward but something tells me we will lose him on a free as usual when his contract is up....

What strikes me the most is that we can't win a ball in the air all over the field. We are also still so susceptible to set pieces. Lots of work needs to be done

Agreed. We created so much but the two goals we conceeded were poor, particularly the second.

We desperately need a quality CB who can win the ball in the air and marshal the defence

Poor result for us at home, only positive is we managed to get ourselves back in the game and grab a point, other than that not much to brag about.
