Dikefale I think it will be ready even earlier but they’re playing it down. Although I do agree the first games won’t be there until 20/21 season.

ThrylosG7 whatever photos you saw must have been a long long time ago, because even in August - October whilst I was there the work was flying and still is.

14 months is the time frame given for when it will be ready. So for season 2019/20 we will back going back home, finally.

          Great video.

If you skip from the first minute to the last few minutes the progress is unreal.

Ready for the summer 2020? Seems a long wait. On the plus, apparently it is 32,000 seats.

Should be ready for 2020/2021 season, not that long a wait IMO. 2 years is pretty good going to build a stadium, especially this one which took nearly 15 years to get over the line.

True, but to think by the end of the summer - you will have the roof and main structure finished. However seeing what happened to Tottenham's new stadium, it is unsurprising.

It’s looking like a stadium now. I think it will be ready earlier than they’re saying, the work that’s been done in that year has been very quick for Greek standards. 32,000 would give you a great atmosphere also.

Next August we will surely be playing our first game at home after so long.

Is it true Kokkalis is putting money into the stadium?

That’s what reports are saying. Also is it Kokkalis company who’s taking on the project for the stadium?

Other reports stating the banks are going after Oly for stadium repayments that have been unpaid. Add to that the verbal war going on between Moralis + Marinakis vs Kokkalis, shit is getting crazy

Whatever is written in the media, the reality is the Kokkalis / Marinakis relationship was never strong after Kokkalis appeared to lie about the Karaiskaki ownership papers. The fact that Kokkalis is a hardcore commie and massively pro SYRIZA just sealed the divorce.

Reality is in Greece it’s a big and dirty war going on behind closed doors all the time and it goes beyond football, but it’s football that gets affected by all these things.

The $20mill has also been signed off finally. The stadium is looking better by the day.
