Good to get the win, we missed a few chances. Garcia looked very lively for us. Good to get a clean sheet comforting the rubbish we’ve been conceding.

Now for Brugge before our European qualifiers begin.

2-1 loss to Brugge overnight. First 15-20 we were bad and conceded once again in the first minute off a corner.

we didn’t play too bad just lack that bite in the front third.

As for our defence we need more numbers, both goal we conceded were soft.

We have another friendly coming up with Apollon Limassol I think it is in Athens on the 15th.

I also want to mention two players, firstly Ansarifard, getting alittle worried with his preseason form, I’m sure he will improve but many times he is going himself and not passing to a tap in.

Just watched the highlights, not much synergy up front, missing that final pass again.

Two goals from corners, again very poor marking, we also struggle to win the ball in the air (I think we were last in the super league last season).

Some promising signs but if we are going to compete in Europe and domestically, our squad is too thin and we desperately need an impossing CB like Vranjes

We play Apollon Limassol on a friendly tonight (4.30am for us Aussies) which is our last hit out from memory before we start our conference league qualifiers.

3-0 win and very convincing also. Our opposition may have not been strong but we looked very good today.

Credit to Milojevic with what he’s done with this team in very little time and also with the roster he’s been given to work with.

Tsintotas is heart attack material, 2 moments in the game today he almost cost us.
