Once again typical Aek fashion left us with hearts in our mouths for the last 15 mins, but we got there. The atmosphere was amazing inside the ground and the rain just made it even better well for us fans anyway not so much players at times. We need Jesús back ASAP Oikonomou early on was solid now he’s showing his weaknesses.

Barkas is a freak, this kid has a big future ahead of him and for me should be Greece’s #1 keeper for a long time, he made some massive saves but also shows confidence in everything he does.

Lopez is an idiot plain and simple there was no need for him to walk over and do what he did.

Looks like he and Livagia may miss 2-3 games for their red cards.

Ouzo needs to fix this discipline issue ASAP, we have had reds in all bar 1 game and that’s a big issue.

Looking at the pots for the groups we are in for a huge challenge there are some massive teams in each pot, let’s see who we get tomorrow.

I definitely want them in Europe, for Greece's benefit mainly but also the reason you stated, they had it handy last season as they had a whole week to rest and prepare whereas we were travelling non stop, I think there was a stage in February where we played like 4 games in the space of 10 days.

Im just not pushed on them getting CL, for AEKs benefit.

I'm ok with them playing in Europa--we want them earning less money, not more. And it ties them up to a more fucked-up schedule.

I agree with you both boys 100%, rather them in Europa. We had one of the worst schedules feb/mar while they had a game a week. The more they play/travel the more even field it is for us.

I’m sure there’s grounds to appeal any suspension given. There was no need for Lopez to walk over and do what he did, it was a stupid thing to do especially at a time like that.

Livagia wasn’t much better either especially after the final whistle.

Lets hope Boye is fit by the time the first game comes around which is 19-20 Sept. Since we have just signed Giannatos he can slot in on the wing and Klona on the other (or Bakasetas) and have Ponce up front, or even Boye. But Livagia will be a massive loss.
