Atromitos have been on and off, cant take them lightly though.

Well... we were poor at times we were ok at times but we managed to sneak the 3-2 win and get a very important 3 points after Olympiakos finally dropped some.

I knew we would struggle when I saw Deletic & Verde supporting Livaja & Oliveira and we did.

For me, Ambaris is a much better player than both and when he & Mantalos came on half way through the second half our attack because more more dangerous.

We got very lucky with our second goal when the young keeper Mandas made a big mistake that Oliveira capitalized on but we looked set to blow it when Lopez didn’t mark Androutsos who made it 2-2 in the 89th! Very good player Androutsos, he also won the penalty to give Atromitos the 1-0 lead.

Trust Mantalos to make our horrible corners effective, he gave the assist for Oliveira to make it 3-2 at the end.

I really hope Kostenoglou realizes Deletic is just not good enough, he should be at Larisa IMO.

Credit to Atromitos, gave us a good run for our money. Very dangerous team in attack. Charisis, Sikulu & Androutsos make a good combo

I think Deletic & Verde are AEL/ Lamia / Apollon level players. They actually damage AEK. Atromitos was a better keeper would have won today.

If I were AEK I would sell Verde in the winter and get Leo Jaba - who wants out of PAOK. He is probably one of the best wingers in the league.

Finally Oliveira shows up.

Good to get the 3 points but we made a meal of it. Our defence sucks ass. Oiko was great last year but differently player this season so far..

A unlucky deflection and a GK f$ck up, not good enough tbh .

Delighted we won but something is not right. Albanis needs to start from here on. Livaja has to be played at CAM.

With Oly and PAOK dropping points this was a must win and in the end the boys got the job done, although with some luck. Need to improve.

Kostenoglou does not know what the best 11 is. It changes every week. Obviously suspensions and injuries play a part but I would like to see a consistant lineup for at least 2/3 games.

I like Galanopoulos but we need some height at CM and no way Simoes gets dropped, we need a more attack minded CM in January imo.

Bakakis and Paulinho is pretty much the same, Galo should have been here.

Hult over Lopez, not sure what is goin on with Hult, something tells me its contract related.

We got lucky today. Didn’t play well but weren’t bad either, we go forward easily but in the final 3rd we don’t have much, poor Oliveira was getting balls first half with his back to goal and no one moving off him. Good to see he got on the score sheet hopefully this lifts him and his game.

Deletic was very average, Verde tried and was a little better but would rather Albanis over both. We missed him and Mandalos when both came on we looked a better side.

As said above our defence is very weak at the moment, don’t know what’s going on with López he’s not even half the player that he’s been in the last for us, lacking confidence a lot.

We need a good 3-4 players to come January if we are any hope of challenging for this title. Even though we’ve been average so far this season we are only 2 wins from 1st, says a lot about the Greek league. We’ve dropped 10 points in the opening 9 games and still have hope of a title.

PAOK once again got lucky, should never have been a penalty as the game should’ve been finished by the time that incident happened. They’re getting a big push once again.

Also the ref was a disaster for us today. Some decisions he made were terrible.

Onto next week we go against PAO, won’t be easy as they’ve not lost to Oly or PAOK this season.

Interesting points lads... I agree and disagree with much of what you guys are saying.

Oliveira... he did ok but I still dont rate the guy. He can't shoot for one, he has has the ball sit up well for him a few times and he's shot has been poor. Also think he is too slow.

Too many players that belong to teams that Reaper mentioned, that included Oikonomou to Deletic and Verde. No idea why Kostenoglou is starting Deletic over Albanis.

we need a more attack minded CM in January imo. - very much so.

As you guys both mention... Lopez... I think the injuries have fucked him up, he is not the player he once was and we dont see the speed he had which was his biggest asset, but injuries to that to you. I believe Hult has had injury issues too but can be back next week.

Geraldes... where is he? I think he can help more than Deletic and Verde.

I watched the replay hard. It was a pen. Kourbelis is an absolute idiot. Crespo was running into defenders - no need to bulldoze him from behind in the box.

At first glance with the paok penalty I thought Kourbelis fell over the other paok player which made him trip Crespo but after watching another replay that wasn’t the case. Still think the game should’ve finished before that even happened.

As for an ACM I thought Geraldes would be the player we needed as he looked so lively in pre season and showed some good glimpses but it hasn’t happened, I think he will be gone January.

We need another CB also, Jesus is ok, Vranjes we know is a mad man, Oiko just doesn’t cut it and Svarnas I don’t think has what it takes.

It will be interesting to see what players Ivic brings in for us in January as it will really tell us how serious they are for the title or atleast a top 2 spot and a shot at CL football again.

Geraldes is as good as gone in January. Guy came over thinking it he was guaranteed a starting spot while he was on holidays...not the case. How is he at Sporting? Cant believe the amount of bullshit we had to put up with over the summer for this palto.

Oliveira you can see he has something about him. He is not fast but he is not that type of player. He is more of a poacher imo. Can be at the right place at the right time, we seen this in his winning goal yesterday. Hopefully this ignites him.

Another CB is a must, Lambro would be perfect right now....

Yeah interesting to see what business Ivic can do, it surely cant be any worse than Lymbe. A few gems hopefully.

He is injured... got injured at training before the Atromitos game. Geraldes should be back though of Kostenoglou wants him.

I hope this game ignites Oliveira OS...

Klona has to be one of the only players that manages to get injured without actually ever playing..
