This game is on a Monday so they can give PAOK a rest from playing in Europe on Thursday. Anyway let's see how the team prepares for a derby. A result here is a must to stay in contention. However a loss there doesn't mean our season is unsatisfactory, because our goal is to finish top 4. That said a tough fight is needed to prove we're for real. -
Just want to see us go there and play without fear. Be bold and back ourselves. This will probably be the toughest game of the season. Imagine we shock a few in these next 3 games.Comment

That will be big for sure. From what I'm hearing, Doni is going all out on attack, not sitting back. PAOK has shown that they have problems when not controlling possession. To note PAOK has had 67 scoring chances to date, and given up 77. That being said they have given up tons of chances to opponents, however they don't concede easily. PAO has the players to make them pay if they get sloppy. ^^Amen, 2nd leg v mourinho's porto, the team was knackered, not to mention basinas got injured in the league match. That was a good porto side but we had a good side ourselves. Had we progressed we would've smashed both lazio and celtic but they never supported us, to give us the best chance of progressing. You would think, it would be an honour to have a greek side win a european competition but no, as long as oly were winning domestically, that is all that mattered.
Anyway regarding the game monday, paok has developed a winning mentality despite not playing well. This never lasts though and you eventually pay for your poor performances. I mean say aris convert the penalty, they lead 2-1 and go on to win. The penalty miss deflated them, so paok were very lucky. I agree with the posts above about the ball retention which is why it's concerning if donis starts his son, next to kourbelis. Staikos is touch and go, thus i would rather see kace instead of donis.Comment

Hahahaha they're trying to give the bougatses every chance. I just hope we f...... do them. Following on from the Aris game, they had a bad loss in the UEL, albeit with a weakened side.
Our young and hungry Greek kids will know what this means, compared to their 11ada featuring 8-9 xeni. Pressing high up the pitch will be vital to win the ball in good areas and really put them under pressure. Chatzigiovannis pace will also be vital in getting behind them.
Will be interesting to see what Donis does up front. He did start Macheda with Kampetsis last game but would he do it away to these guys? Kampetsis could be a weapon off the bench.Comment

PAOK has been super lucky in the last month or so, getting away with big wins and playing very metrio football - hope you guys spoil things and get the win, Vidi showed a way of doing it and I think the PAO of today could be just as effective as that and better as you guys are a faster teamComment

On video training here....looks like PAOK is setting up for a stacked PAO defense. However from what I'm hearing PAO is on attack mode. And that's is coming from on the way PAO has trained all week. They basically don't believe we have the guts to play attacking soccer at Tumba.
