  • PAOK vs Krasnodar (Play-offs)

PAOK only just lost the first leg 2-1 away to Krasnodar. Pelkas had a penalty saved, but he made up for it with the opening goal about 20 minutes later. The return leg is to be played next week in Thessaloniki. A 1-0 win will be enough for them to qualify.

I watched the game. Krasnodar looked like the better team if I’m being honest. But PAOK did look good in some parts of the match. The final pass was lacking for PAOK. Pelkas looked nervous on the penalty. He redeemed himself later with his goal. Zivkovic is a top keeper. I was really impressed with him. Very fearless.

Krasnodar looked very hungry in the game more than PAOK. It’s looks like they want it the most but PAOK did have a chance to draw the game. I thought Michailidis and Tzolis did alright. In the next leg, PAOK will have to play like there lives depend on it. That’s what it’s going to take to get the job done.
