GS. Com had great success, but as you mention there were some crazy people on the forums who behind a keyboard became monsters. We went through years of clean up by having to ban these "monsters" who would ruin any great topic and initially it was from all clubs.
For many years gs. com was doing remarkably well, moderated well and even had tipping comps were members could win jerseys as I did in 2006. In all this time many unhealthy members were banned so we had many good members and the forums were a pleasure.
Around 2011/12 the forums were upgraded, Kosmas decided to make it a free for all back in... a move that would eventually kill the forum, many if not all the of the banned posters over the previous 10 years came back, it went well for about 2-3 months, but then become a OSFP cult vs the rest, even new (red) moderators that came in were subjective, as well as another guy that was part of the original group, it was a mess all round, on the forums and then trying to manage it, some good PAO posters have never been seen from the abuse they received duirng this period but especially after it when some messed up people would write the most disturbing things about them and me at times too.
I was reaching out to Kosmas as this was happening, no reply, when he did reply it was way too late and he simply decided it close the site.
It really was a fall of an empire imo simply cause it was managed so poorly and good guys were put in impossible situations with guys who had no business managing a site of its size and popularity.Last edited by Amorgos; 10-02-2020, 09:07 PM.Comment

Yes, that's very true. I tried messaging a few members there.
