I'm not voting unless Biden clearly states his opposition to Erdogan. I'm not asking for Americans lives to be put on the line, but Erdogan has to understand there are limits to his incursions and it's evident he presents as great a threat as Iran, that these threats must be contained. In any case, I'm going to expect the worst after the elections are over. I seriously question whether we will have a country after.

To everyone, I have major reservations voting for Biden. I don't like his politics, but on the issue of Turkey he can get my vote and win it on that alone. I suspect he may have changed his tune, though. There is a possibility he no longer holds the same position he did before because the Pentagon seems willing to live with Erdogan for now.

Bolton dropped major revelations and Biden hasn't said a word on the Halkbank stuff. Any chance Biden gets to hit Trump on the head with Putin, he takes it, but on Erdogan, nothing. I think he has rolled over to accepting what Turkey has been doing, but I still hold some hope to believe otherwise.

If a Biden-led US were to pressure Ankara economically, the resultant pain in an over-extended Turkey could prove severe, possibly even severe enough to constrain what for the moment looks like unrestrained ambition in the region.

you're entitled to your vote and i wouldn't criticize it.

what's going on in the usa is more important to me than the relationship between trump/biden-erdogan. in the west's geopolitical realpolitik view; turkey is a strategically important nation, has lifted itself up into more than a regional player and other nations must take note.

today, i wake up to read that nbc's chairman states that he wants 50% of nbc news employees (nbc, cnbc, msnbc) to be minority. ok, time to watch fox business news.
