It's hard to imagine anyone other than Juventus' contesting for the league title next season and the season beyond.

Napoli are their closest rivals. They do have a good side that stands to inherit both Manolas and James this summer. Inter can only get better and in Conte have a willy coach who can take them to that next level.

Beyond them, however, everyone is playing catch-up. Roma and Milan are rebuilding. Fiorentina are now under new ownership and it remains to be seen how they will fare (he future looks brighter so far). Lazio is another side that should be doing better but have struggled of late.

Then there are sides like Torino, Atalanta and Sampdoria who could punch above their weight class, something Atalanta did this past season by finishing 3rd place and knocking Juve out of the Coppa Italia.

Since Ronaldo's signing to Juventus, Italy seems to have regained some of its old glamour, but they are a long way behind the EPL.

Talk about an eye for goal. Kane scored a spectacular last-minute winner in Spur's friendly with Juve:

What were Arsenal doing letting Ramsey go. Here's someone missing in their midfield who could have helped them control games. Big mistake letting him go on a free.

Juventus got away with it today. Hellas Verona outplayed for a good few spells and nearly got a tying goal at around the 89th minute.

Another Juventus win, another Cristiano goal. Juventus know how to turn it up and get results. Pjanic and Cristiano look like the difference this season. Both Inter and Napoli need to sign someone of special quality to match them. I think Napoli will need to sell Koulibaly at some point to make that happen. It will take 2 years more at this rate to overtake them.

Looks like Juventus aren't cut out to play Sarriball. There are questions aplenty as to why they signed Can (who has since been sold), Rabiot, Ramsey, and De Ligt (who commanded too high a transfer fee they feel). The bigger issue is Cristiano Ronaldo. His style of play doesn't seem suited to Sarri's demands. Italian football generally is too negative tactically. Cristiano may want out at this stage. There are continual rumors he's considering a move to Paris.

Juventus have dumped Sarri for Pirlo. I don't believe Pirlo can lead Juventus to win the UCL, but I thought the same thing of Zidane when he first became coach of Real!

Since the day Cristiano signed, there have rumors of his imminent resale. Apparently Juventus are offering him to various clubs, Barcelona included. He's probably better off at Juventus.
