Volos is worth 2.5 million. Even though AEK/PAO are running a tight budget, it goes to show we're over/valued, and overpaying players.

At this point, both clubs should cut 70% percent of their rosters, and start rebuilding properly.

Hard environment to do that when journalists are making excuses 24/7 for players like Svarnas and Kourbelis. Volos has no such pressure, so just employs players who can make the difference - Douvikas, Ninis, Perea (who PAO deemed not good enough..), Ferrari etc. And remember - Volos has being doing this for ages..

There's definitely a problem from the upper management down. When I see AEK match up against PAO, they look evenly matched. That said, PAO against OLY and PAOK they looked like a bottom feeder using Lamia type tactics, slowing down the match and sneaking out a victory....in both PAO wins, the scores should have been 3 plus goals deficit loses to Olympiakos and PAOK. To add this years versions of OLY/PAOK are in rebuilding years, and that only means they will definitely be better next year.
The way I see it....both AEK and PAO need total rebuilds. There's maybe a few players worthy to build around, the rest are for the scrap yard.

This is definitely true but its a worldwide football thing imo. Players are more under pressure to perform at bigger clubs. Some players deal with it better than others. Some prefer the relaxed less pressure a smaller team requires.

It also makes a players look better than he is, for example you put Svarnas at Volos and he will be a starting CB, he then has some good games vs Oly/PAOK etc and the papers be like 'Svarnas is back to his best' & 'AEK should not have got rid of him'.

It's the same worldwide but in Greece its x10

            3-1 PAOK

Well that was brutal. Probably the worst I have seen L.Garcia play.

            Whole team was bad tbh

            Olympiakos next.......

Hopefully OSFP take it easy on us, this team is no good, also, why are we playing Oliveira on the wing with Tankovic and Albanis on the bench...

Svarnas losing header after header and leading to opposition goals...

Surley Meli will not go to Agia Sofia with a team like this

No surprise we lost, every week I ask myself why I wake up at the worst times of the night to watch that shit yet I still get up and it gets worse each week. Is there an option to forfeit the last games and just call it a season for us? We’ve been made a laughing stock.

I keep forgetting you guys have to watch this at 3-4-5am's - that's dedication right there, I'm lucky I'm 2 hours behind of Greece, I don't know if I would be cut out for those night shifts u guys put in year in year out so props!

This has to be the worst we have played in a very very long time for such a long period of time. We are accustomed to bad performances but usually we turn it around quick enough, not this time, this defence is unfixable I'm afraid. Svarnas and Laci being your starting defenders is always going to mean trouble.
Svarnas is just not AEK quality I'm afraid, he is not fit to tied the laces of Lambropoulos. Laci has potential but will not learn playing next to the defenders he is being partnered with.

Oliveira on the wing was so dumb, what everyone else sees in Tankovic but Manolo doesn't baffles me.

Szymanski also was a no show, very strange for him and L.Garcia to be practically invisible on the pitch.

It’s painful waking up at those times but when you have a sickness it’s hard to change your ways lol

As for the team we are a mess and a disaster.

We are going to destroy Tankovic now also, how Alabanis gets on before him and also Oliveira starts wide ahead of him baffles all of us, he will leave the way things are going and if he does good for him if we don’t appreciate what he offers us.

The less said about our defence the better, it’s been an ongoing issue since we won the title and nothing has been done.

We’ve all stayed patient as fans but it’s come to a point where everyone has had enough.

Thank god there’s no fans at games currently as I could see our fans out of frustration costing us points for malakies they could do.

I think I've watched one game this season and that was only to get an idea of what's going wrong. That was two hours of sleep I could have used and since then the pillow has been much better to me than AEK.

                        1-5 loss vs Olympiacos.

Let me guess, Tiger will blame the coach for losing with a side worth less than half the price of Olympiakos's team. Martins, Guardiola and the best coaches on earth would not be able to improve a team with players like Svarnas, Krstitic, Laci, Bakakis, Lopes... and to think, Tiger is worth more than Alafouzos, Karipidis and Marinakis combined..

The coach is fucked Reaper, he should be sacked soon enough and unless Meli is gone purchase some quality defenders he should hand over the reigns to someone who will build a proper team! This team is a fucken joke

Look at our back four. Hnid and Svarnas today. That's not Manolos fault, change the players for once, not him

He could have started Nedelcearu instead of Hnid, Vasilantonopoulos was doing just fine also previously

I am getting the feeling Tiger is surrounded entirely by sycophants telling him that despite spending less than half what Olympiacos does - his players should be beating Olympiacos 5-1..
