I’m pretty sure it was 2016 as I was in Greece then watching the game, but my memory isn’t the greatest either lol....

For me as I said before he was someone who could hurt defenders with his speed and he could whip in a good ball too.

Just saw you guys signed Yaya Toure.

Giannotas is a solid player. But for Europe we really need someone with solid experience in the big leagues like Narsingh.

Karelis would be a good addition as well!

Giannatos has European experience but not the solid type we need. He would offer more than Bakasetas as example and Klona too.

Karelis would be a great addition, big, strong, solid and knows his way to goal.

Lets see what comes of it.

Toure at 35 is a bad signing for Oly. I know the SL is dogshit mostly, but 35 is too fucking old for a midfielder. Getting a guy you offloaded 13 years earlier is one of those old "bam" moves that you do to sell shirts, not to improve the team.

He’s a lazy player with a shit attitude, another panic buy in my opinion. Yes he may do wonders in the league at times but he won’t be setting the world on fire for them. First Torosidis now Toure lol

Strange signing, out of the blue. Will have somw decent affect for them, 35 or not. Lets not forget Rivaldo was 35 when he joined us also. Sure they are nowhere near as close quality wise but he will offer them something. Very heavy legs though, could be exposed.

Not sure how many games he played last season but I dont believe it was a lot and most would have been as a sub so not full games, could take a while for him to get match fit.

Karelis interest heating up. We were linked with him earlier in the summer but Genk were asking for too much, I guess so close to the end of the window they must have lowered there price and we entered again.

Would be a good addition, basically a better version of Giakoumakis. If he is signed maybe Giakou will be loaned as he will be 3/4th choice which would be pointless for his development.

Giannotas is good player but we need someone to take us to the next level. Also we need a DM, we are paper thin there with only Simeos, Gala, Alef to compete on both fronts.

We need a striker now especially with livigia being suspended. Can’t just rely on him.

Rivaldo was a former Fifa Player of the Year winner and kept himself in great shape--even at that age his vision and passing was incredible.

From reports I've read, Karelis might come out on a loan--which most of us hate--but works out in that he gets to play and impress some buyers (including us if we're interested) and works his ass off because he's trying to shop his ass to other teams in the process. Looks like Livaja is definitely out for 3 games, the fuckhead.

For sure they are planets apart, like you said Rivaldo was super fit for his age and went on to play into his 40s. But he will do them more good than bad I feel.

I have nothing against the loan with option to buy, why not? If the player turns out to be great (Livaja) you sign the agreed fee, if he turns out to be a dud you send him back. Simple and smart.

West Brom made a bid to loan Mantalos (as there window is closed but they can still loan), they offered €2m now and €6m next summer, it was rejected.

However reading some comments on FB it appears most people wanted him gone saying "sell him yesterday" and "I'll bring him to the airport myself, quite surprising tbh, do a lot of people not rate him? Sure he has had 2 bad injuries but to want him gone 1 day before the window closes is ludicrous.
