We're playing Vitesse tonight in a friendly. Hope we play some good football, really need to focus on winning these friendlies but more importantly keeping a clean sheet after last season!

I just hope we come out injury free, we usually lose a player or 2 in preseason and the way things are going we cant afford to.

Watched the first half we didn’t play too bad for a first hit out, very organised defensively and very pretty sharp on the counter and getting numbers forward.

Sounds like a decent start, would have loved a clean sheet. Good result as they finished 4th last season although not sure what side they put out.

Feyenoord up next followed by Club Brugge before Europa Conference starts. At least we have some good friendlies this season.

These type of friendlies make al the difference in pre season compared to the horafia teams we usually face.

It wasn’t their first team that’s for sure but you play the what’s in front of you and we look organised and with a game plan. As Dikefale said it’s the opposition that makes the difference and these games will be great for us because if I saw us play Banik Ostrava again I was going to lose my mind lol

Still a few players to come in and get minutes but decent first hit out, as usual goal from a corner, vintage AEK.

We play PSV tonight in our next friendly and for us aussies the time doesn’t get any better - 9.30pm kickoff, don’t get that often lol

Good hit out for us, will be interesting to see who starts in this one.

3-1 down at HT. Started well and took the lead through Tankovic, I missed the 2-1 but the 3rd goal Feyenoord scored was a gift

Conceding 3 goals in nine minutes, not a good look. Two straight up the middle and a gift. The concerns that everyone has had about our CBs is real

This is pretty much the same team as last season - Livaja, - Kristicic, - Chyg so unless we get some serious signings I dont see how we are to improve on last seasons results.

We are in serious need of 2 Fullbacks, a CB and CM. Possibly even a left winger but hightly doubtful. Assuming Araujo is coming we are good up front.

The team in preseason is made up mostly of youth players so I wont pay to much attention to these results.

If they don’t bring in at least 2 more defenders (as we have signed Tzavellas) then we are in for a long long season once again.

We bring in a good coach and once again I can see him not being given the tools he needs to succeed.

We're playing Royal Antwerp today in a friendly. Finished 2nd in the Belgium league. Hopefully we play some decent football and keep a clean sheet!!

Hopefully we get to see Tzavellas get a start and also Garcia. Garcia was good in our last game. Was a danger every time he was on the ball.

Let’s hope our defence is better than what we’ve seen the past 2 games.

2-0 win, very solid, weren't troubled, could have scored more. Albania and Garcia looked very dangerous which is good to see. Interesting that Tsintotas is starting
