Luckily Natcho came on. Who knows what would have happened. It was interesting Bouchalakis got the full 90. I agree this season will be competitive. Aris doing very well and Panathinaikos haven't lost aswell. The big games will be the derbies ofcourse and I believe it will be close for the team finishing 1st.

I'd be surprised though if Olympiakos didn't win it based on the talent they have got and the depth. I see a cup title coming at least for Olympiakos.

Fetfa started his third game in place of Lazaros and deserved. Panionios had a goal incorrectly ruled out - he was miles onside. WE NEED VAR IN GREECE NOW. Also got a offside decision wrong against Olympiacos.

Panionios deserved to come away with something this game.

6/10 imo by his standards.

There were a few times where he got the ball and he made the correct easy forward pass (usually to an overlapping FB) - but you just wanted him to go solo more like in the old days. Having said that our only goal came from one of those forward passes from him - the pass before the assist by Omar. The 1 shot I remember him taking was miles over the bar. He was good and correctly was allowed to play 95 minutes - but I want more from him. Hopefully from this point on he can start to really impress more. He has now started 3 games and has games under his boots - I expect a lot from him.

thanks for the review Reap... Hopefully Martins gives Fetfa a few more games, especially now that Fortounis, Laz and Podence forms have dipped a bit IMO the last couple of weeks or so. When on his game, there isn't a greek player out there that can transition an attack linking up with his mids and strikers quite as fast and effective as Fetfa.

Very true. And even today Fetfa was still very silky on the ball and beat his man every time or at least got a throw-in from the attempt. You are also correct about Podence, Fortounis and Laz's form. All three are shadows these last 2 weeks. Martins had faith Fetfa would be involved in our winning goal and indeed he was. i think at this point Fetfa needs a goal for his confidence.

Fetfa is more talented than Lazaros in my opinion. Lazaros is more useful coming off the bench. I hope Fetfa continues starting it will only do good for the team with his technique and skill. Also hopefully get called up for the nt in October.

Sandro Schärer - the Swiss referee will be refereeing the Olympiacos vs PAOK game this sunday. Greek refs are not welcome to take charge of big games this season. This ref apparently likes giving out reds in case there are any gamblers out there..

Vukovic crap all game - tried to sell him in the summer - no one wanted him. Has to go now. He is not Olympiacos standard.

Bouxalakis was also crap. MVP Mady. PAOK had luck but saw us coming. Good tactics. Lazaros was weak again. Podence lots of effort but not too much end product. Omar was poor today also. Swiss ref was excellent. Fucked PAOK on a clear onside move like with Panionios, but besides that - another level.

Massive win for PAOK. Many games to come. The table is mad.
