  • 2022/2023 Super league season

PAO has started the season with 2 wins, And they seem to have enough talent to challenge for the championship. Looking at their roster from top to bottom including depth players, this could the best team PAO has had since 2010. Hopefully the page has turned and the glory days are in sight.

Day match 3 PAO with a 1 nil victory at home over Levadiakos. We continue with a undefeated and clean sheet streak.

Big match next, and first derby of the year against AEK. Should be a good one AEK can’t afford to lose outright…..that said if PAO are serious contenders this match is a must win at home.

I think which ever defence has the better night will win, both teams pretty good at going forward

PAO favourite if AEK still have Tzavellas at CB.

PAO with the victory over AEK in the derby 2-1. Both goals came on penalties. Overall PAO did enough to get the 3 points, the undefeated streak continues.

PAO looking really strong up front with Palacios/Sporar/Verbic/Bernard….mid field was strong coming in, and if the back end holds up this team can challenge for the championship. I also like the supporting cast on this roster looking like a strong bench.

PAO with a 3-0 victory at home over PAS, Hat trick for Aitor. PAO continues their unbeaten streak a perfect 5 for 5. Next week will be a true measurement heading into the derby against PAOK in Tuba.

PAO with the 2-1 victory in Tumba! Both goals from Aitor. We played very smart football and within ourselves in a tough environment. PAO undefeated 6 and 0. Next match against Astera lets keep the ball rolling!

PAO with the 1-0 victory over Asteras. PAO with control the whole game Asteras parked the bus for most of the match. Aitor with his 7th goal of season we got lucky to get the penalty to get the winner. PAO 7 and 0 to start the season we move on.

Whiltst PAO was much better than one of the worst teams in the league IMO, that was not a penalty, right call by the reff, wrong by VAR as usual, should have been 0-0

If the officiating is consistent throughout the championship on calls, I’m totally fine with the decision going towards the team playing football, and pressing, entertaining adding value to the venue. If I was officiating the first chance I get to stick it to the team sitting back playing garbage I would. It was a 50/50 call I have no problem with it. We discussed this many times going back years, and we all remember how many times AEK and PAO have gotten screwed over calls favouring the scrap of the league.
