I would say the correct word would be smokescreen. Those who made false accusations will not be tried themselves - this will educate a whole new generation of Greeks that baseless accusations go rewarded - not punished - and I expect to see another 2-3 of these in my lifetime drag on for years. Gives lawyers money, gives crappy journalists something to write about and gives tight ass owners an excuse to their fans for their cheap team losing to teams like Panaitolikos.

Average attendance for this year's Super League matches was 5,433 spectators per game. This is a 28% increase from last year and I believe the highest amount for several years. Definitely helped by the fact that OFH and Aris were back in the top division.

Apollon Smyrnis and Levadiakos had the 2nd and 3rd worse attendances respectively. Both will be relegated for this upcoming season.

And OFI have a chance of staying in the SL.

I really liked the way Aris have carried themselves this season. We could see even further improvement next season and challenge PAOK and Olympiakos for the title. They play a good style of football and have some very talented players such as Garcia. We need Asteras, Xanthi and Panionios to bolster their squads so we can see an even competitive league. OFI included as well.

Sadly seems Aris can't afford the 5 million buy out clause for Garcia.

I was hoping they could afford it. With this guy in their team Aris could be heading in the right direction. I don’t know who they would replace him with.

And relegation, so because we decided to go 14 teams we need to do play offs as it only account to 26 rounds instead of 30... so go back to what didn’t work, play offs - brain power like this, only in Greece but hey, the play offs may work, let’s see

The one thing all greek teams, players and media could agree on 2 years ago was that the play offs were a disaster and should be scrapped.

Now we have them back.. forced on the clubs by communists who will be out of power in 1 month...

                          Greece...

I can see Aris be a major threat to PAOK and Olympiakos. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish 2nd. Unfortunately I don’t see AEK and Panathinaikos improving from last season. Atromitos and Asteras could give teams a headache. Volos and OFI might shock people.

I still think the championship will be between Olympiakos and PAOK.

I think Oly has strengthened their squad quite a bit this offseason and has closed the talent gap with PAOK.

OSFP have to be favorites. They've built a team around by far the league's best player, Fortounis. Now that the team has had a chance to gel, they're firing on all cylinders. Pick ups like Semedo and Valbuena help, but OSFP didn't need to make any upgrades this summer to win the league, they need these upgrades for the UCL. Ever since the winter break, since PAOK sold Prijovic, they've been the best team. PAOK has a strong defense, but no team has a player of greater or equal measure to Fortounis and that's where the championship is won or lost.
