They held a new round of elections (which were initially postponed by the pandemic). Zaev's government had to form a coalition with the Albanians in order to secure power. As part of the deal, their country will have an Albanian prime minister towards the end of this coalition government's mandate. The Albanians will also hold power in important ministries too.
