Tsipras is just a Trotskyist. They hate borders, patriotism, ancestor worship, national identity etc. They are internationalist communists.

Latest tweets I've seen indicate a very low turn out for votes - a ltitle over 20%. which does not spell good for the agreement to actually be put into play as at minimum there needs to be a 50% turnout.
Seems Ivanov's comments about abstaining to vote may have worked - but I do not want to jump the gun....we'll find out in afew hours

The Prespes agreement is dead.
Those dumb fucking Greek journalists who tried to pawn it off to the Hellenic people have been dealt a massive blow as has the communist SYRIZA party. To think - it allowed them to call themselves 'Macedonians' and their language 'Macedonian.' It was clearly a Greek communist gift to their former civil war allies. Now it is over and we can all breathe.
Tsipric the slavic communist that he is will pretend that the 35% turnout makes the vote valid, even though it was clearly stated before the referendum that the vote is null and void if it is under 50%.

Reading the Greek press - it is almost like they are sad the turnout fell so badly short.. The whole media in Greece is hard left. Very unbalanced society. Very dangerous. Let us remember that all the polls showed that the greek people did not want this disgusting agreement after Tsipras forced it through. bearing that in mind - seeing that the referendum is null and void - you would think the Greek press would strike a celebratory tone - instead they seem to be in mourning that Skopians can't call themselves macedonians.. Disgusting.Originally posted by Filikieteria1821 View PostSo now that the agreement has essentially been called null and void, it seems Zaev will want to try to push for it to be passed through parliament. IMO it wont happen and will likely lead to early elections in 2019. Tsipras, Kotzias and Zaev should go drown in prespes

Agreed - and of course the department of state in America welcomes the result and says that it should be implemented. Funny thing is they will need to push it through parliaent and they dont have the means to do so. IMO, if things stay as they are, there will be no agreement.
For Greece this just further points to the fact that Tsipras and Syriza are a cancer on Greece

Zaev has the backing of the Greek communist Govt and their insidious partner ANEL tonight. He has the backing of the EU that the result is 'clear.' He also has the backing of the US and the Greek, Fyromian, EU and Western media. Doesn't matter if only 4 skopians voted today - this is about the communist birth of a new nation.Originally posted by Filikieteria1821 View PostHow is Zaev going to survive this though? I'd imagine snap elections have to be called given how unpopular this was. Sure the popularity for 33% of people who voted was overwhelming, but that's a lot less than 50% of the population.

Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that he does not have the 2/3 majority in parliament to put the deal into place. I don't want to get excited about this because this was the first hurdle, but if Zaev's party doesn't have the votes to put this into play, then what are world powerhouses going to do?

I think civil war is coming and it is the only way this nation will find a steady and safe identity not based on cultural theft. If the Albanians want a nation of their own in this pseudo nation, now seems to be an opportune moment. The country needs to split into two. An Albanian West and a Bulgar East.

If the country split in two it would be worse for Greece ,,,because then you would have a 'ethnic macedonian' state to deal with....
I'd rather Greece be dealing with the mix of different groups in this tin pot republic...more chance to negotiate a good outcome for us if they are facing pressures from within...
and please...we don't need nor want a land grab from this mire....
